Art Performance

*Modern Kumiodori "Voyage Requios", Mar. 3rd, 14:00-15:30
"Voyage Requios" is a "modern version" of Kumiodori that is a traditional performing art in Okinawa. It is called a modern version of Kumiodori, Okinawa version musical, because it unites Kumiodori, which is an all-around performance that adopts Ryukyu dancing, Sanshin and Japanese drums, and modern elements, like band music and dance. Without using professional actors, we focused on local young people and cast them.
The plan is that Director Daiichi Hirata will make an original version based on gerontology for this meeting. Mr. Heizo Takenaka and famous director Amon Miyamoto also support.
